You’re the FIRST to know!

How excited am I to share some fun news with you today?
THIS excited!

By now you most likely know I have a new book coming out in March 2023, YOU DON’T HAVE TO CARRY IT ALL: Ditch The Mom Guilt & Find a Better Way Forward. It’s about how we can give working moms the support they so desperately need. And if you’re one of the first to PRE-ORDER, you’ll receive some goodies in time for the holidays — whether you’re buying for yourself, the mamas in your life, soon-to-be mamas or the brave dads that will read this book. :) K. Now time for the details. EVERYONE who pre-orders gets access to two chapters that I personally selected for you, plus a proprietary code to ABLE, one of my favorite fashion companies dedicated to supporting women and moms. But, if you’re one of the first 300 people to pre-order, you’ll also get this custom YOU DON’T HAVE TO CARRY IT ALL tote bag.

To claim the goodies, all you have to do is pre-order from your favorite retailer and then click here to upload your proof of purchase… or go to https://www.worthypub.com/carry.I love showering you — you’ve been so good to me. And, I’m so grateful for how you’ve supported this project. Of all the stories I’ve reported on… this book, this message might be the most important work I’ve done. And, I can’t wait to start sharing it with you!

FARIS FAVORITES

1. What I'm Watching: Ryan Reynolds just got more perfect. He sings! And dances! Over Thanksgiving break, hubby and I watched the movie "Spirited" which features two of my faves: Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell. I was NOT expecting this to be a musical AND a comedy. But, it was. And, we were pleasantly surprised. Both of them can sing! And, they’re actually quite good. The movie has a fantastic message about seeing the best in people and how we’re all redeemable. It’s PG-13, so expect a teeny bit of language. But, we loved this movie!!! Photo via Good Morning America

2. What I'm Eating: We don’t have time to waste on experimentation in the kitchen. So, I’m sharing with you my SLAM DUNK dip/appetizer that might be the easiest thing you’ll make this holiday season. Easy? Why yes. It’s made in a Crock Pot.BUFFALO CHICKEN RANCH DIP: In a Crock Pot, dump 2.5 cans of chicken (Yes, cans. We aren’t fancy), 2, 8-ounce blocks of cream cheese, 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup of hot sauce (we prefer Texas Pete) and 1 cup of Ranch Dressing (on the 8th day, God created ranch dressing… just in case you had any questions). Stir and cook on HIGH for 4 hours. Use tortilla chips, Fritos, sliced veggies, or really anything to dip. And most of all, enjoy!

3. What I'm Buying: I love to support companies that support moms. ABLE, an ethical fashion brand that does just that, is offering all of you (my friends) a SPECIAL CODE through December. Use the code: CARRY30 for 30% off their site

Here's what you missed this week in The CARRY™ ALL, the weekly newsletter BY working moms, for working moms (and the Media company birthed out of my own Called Out story!)
1. What your rights may be for paid time off if your kids are home sick.2. How to make the most of your "in-office" time.3. A letter to the mom who's not feeling the holidays this year.
The Paula Faris 'Faith & Calling' Podcast

This week we have an extra special CALLBACK episode featuring the very first guest of the Faith & Calling podcast — who also happens to be my longtime friend, Candace Cameron Bure! Since our first episode, Candace has been one busy lady…
Just this year, the Queen of Christmas Movies closed out her time at The Hallmark Channel and stepped into a brand new role as Chief Creative Officer at a brand new network

Great American Family. In this episode, Candace opens up about her numerous projects, the value of hard work and how she handles all the critics along the way. She also offers up the proper way to hold a wine glass and some of the ground rules that helped her and her husband launch their three grown kids into adulthood (and off their dime!). Listen Now>>
