Hello, my friends…

Welcome to my cozy living room with my cozy socks and cozy fireplace. No, it’s not terribly cold in South Carolina, yet. It’s about 50 degrees. All I can say is this Midwestern born-and-bred girl has gotten SOFT since moving here a few years ago.

And, did you notice the Christmas tree in my photo, as I sit down to write this letter to you? I saw a report last week that said people who put up their decorations early are happier (per psychologists). It’s a dopamine hit and we’re more relaxed and friendlier, on average. So, I promise to be nice the rest of the year :) Haha. It’s put me in a giving mood, for sure. That’s why I’m giving away three (3) $100 gift cards to Target! I told you in our last letter that I’m entering a season of rooting in and fertilizing what’s already been planted. I’m not launching anything else… I’m just investing in what’s already been planted. For me, that means really focusing on the work I’m doing at CARRY™ for working mamas, but also building The Paula Faris Show — so, would you do me a HUGE favor and subscribe? Caroline is a voracious reader… she absolutely puts me to shame. One of her faves that I’m now reading is called The Inheritance Games. It’s about a girl who came from nothing and how she mysteriously inherits billions from someone she doesn’t know. So good, right?? I'm looooooving it, so far. It’s riveting. And, clean. (Not that I don’t love a Colleen Hoover book…but, my girl isn’t old enough for those kinds of books. IYKYK)
