Hi Friend, I won’t say another word until I properly thank you for letting me slide into your inbox every Sunday during these last six weeks for the Called Out Book Club.This is the last Sunday e-mail because the book club is over (you can watch all of them on my Instagram, btw). This means we’ll be returning to our regularly scheduled program––an email from me every other Tuesday, which is getting a makeover. More on that in a sec…If you were part of the Called Out Book Club, thank you for having these much-needed conversations about fear, calling, purpose...and this past week, WHO WE WANT TO BE. I invited my teen daughter, Caroline, as well as my friend, Lysa TerKeurst. 

Caroline joked that asking “WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE?” has become my mantra. She’s right. I’m a little obsessed with asking this question, especially of our kids. You’ve GOT to hear Caroline’s response to this question. I have no idea where this child came from. 

Oh, and Lysa might have dropped a teaser that the working title of her next book is Good Boundaries and Goodbyes….can’t wait!
