Hi ,I wasn’t sure this episode was going to happen.I’d been planning on interviewing my 81-year-old mother as well as my 13-year-old daughter about the different call on our lives at different moments in our lives.But, the day the interview was supposed to take place, my mother wasn’t feeling well. Turns out, she was 24-hours away from suffering a massive stroke.

The day we recorded, I gave her the choice of postponing to another day...none of us knew what was looming. Yet, my mom, with her signature enthusiasm, said she wanted to proceed with the interview. And, I’m so grateful she did. Her wisdom and wit are a gift.As is her remarkable recovery since the stroke.Join me in conversation with my mother, Carol, and my daughter, Caroline.
